Mensa Philippines — the Philippine chapter of the high-IQ society Mensa International — will be holding its 21st Annual Gathering on December 1, 2013 (Sunday), from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 

The venue of this annual Mensa event will be at the Botanical Gardens of The Mind Museum, 3rd Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Makati City. 

The entrance fee for attending the Annual Gathering is Php800.00 for current Mensa members and Php1,000.00 for guests. As part of Mensa Philippines’ efforts to help out in the recent calamity, Php100.00 of each ticket will be donated for the benefit of Yolanda victims.

Also, if Mensans and guests purchase their tickets before November 27, 2013, they can avail of the early bird ticket prizes of Php600.00 and Php800.00, respectively.

The theme for Mensa Philippines Annual Gathering is “Gray Matters” – which celebrates the high-IQ society’s love and passion for all things related to intelligence and learning. Featured in the event will be an update of Mensa’s plans and programs in the Philippines, as well as booths, games and activities.

For its guest speaker during the event, Mensa will have social media and digital marketing guru Carlo Ople, who is currently the Sr. Manager for Social Media Marketing of TV5.

Mensa Philippines will also be launching during this Annual Gathering its “Mensa Awards”, meant to recognize outstanding Mensans who have made contributions to others.

With the Annual Gathering being the organization’s most important meeting for the year, some 150 Mensa members as well as their guests are expected to attend.
