Ask Mensa AnythingCategory: About MensaI have the Mensa name… sort of…
Reed Menssa asked 6 days ago

Alright, I will break this down as best I can. Please note that this is all passed down family history. 2 Mensa brothers emegrated from Germany to Canada. Due to landrights laws at the time each family would be able to get a free plot of land to farm.
At this time the 2 families showed up with each other. As far as the story goes this meant that they would only receive one free plot. So the brothers concocted what can only be described as functional interpretation. One brother added an “s” to their name, thus gaining them 2 plots of land.
Fast forward to today. I am 48 years old and retired in the great country of the Philippines 🇵🇭.  Living my best life after being at the top of my field for over 20 years. I am functionally the last of my line in Canada, and with 2 beautiful and smart daughters, I will not see the name Menssa progress.
I guess my question is… does this make make me the bastard King of Mensa?
Thank you for your time and folling my light hearted question to it’s finality.
